Amplifier:	Ming Da MC-3008A 40 Watt SET monoblocs. Modified by Bill Baker at Response Audio (Great Job, Bill!)

Speakers:	Silverline Boleros DIY subwoofer system: +/-100 liter cabinet with 12" ATC driver driven by Velodyne SC-1250 Class-D Sub amplifier w/ on board crossover.

Room Comments/Treatments:	Overall a pretty good room as is, WTW carpeting and plaster walls, some upholstered furniture. Visuals are pretty important so no tube traps or related coming.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections):	Old line jazz (Shearing, MJQ, Dizzy, et. al.), also some of the newer jazz people, especially Pizzarelli. Stravinsky. Old southern rock stuff - Allman brothers et al.
System Goals/Comments:	Better stylus. Passive preamplification (transformer based) with battery phono stage coming soon. Toy around with the power conditioning and grounds to get quietest backgrounds possible.
System Strengths:	Excellent timbral accuracy, good imaging, 'that SET sound'. Great rendering of male and female vocals.
System Weaknesses:	SET's won't really get the hard rock and fusion stuff right, but the added sub really helps. Hey, it's all a matter of tradeoffs, unless you got a 100K or so to spend.
