| Music Preferences and Comments: | |
| Music Used (Genre/Selections): | First record purchase: Dave Clark Five "Dou You Love Me?"; cut my teeth on British Invasion pop, worshipped the Beatles, rode the wave into American Rock and 60's Psychedalia ... Doors ... Hendrix; explored classical, Bach and Baroque, Tellemann, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Strauss and Tchaicovsky, Staravinsky and Copland, Villa Lobos and Milhaud; became captivated with the poeticism of American popular songs, thanks to Francis Albert and Ella, spent a few years on Gershwin and Porter and Sondheim and Carmichael and the great Broadway show tunes; diverged into big band music, which led to Ellington, Bassie, and back to Armstrong and Joplin; regressed back to the future to punk rock and disco and techno and acid jazz and yes, hip hop. Somewhere along the line, I got fixated on Randy Newman. It's all music ... some of it's good, and some of it ain't. |
| System Goals/Comments: | Someday, I'm gonna invest in some good wires. |
| System Strengths: | Great resolving power, air and soundstaging. |
| System Weaknesses: | Some would say, a bit too analytical and bright. I would say, I want to hear what's on the record. |

| Comments on HT System: | The XBR4 is a fine set. Very happy with my Premier AM3 swing-out wall mount. Great way to extend TV into room; great when you need to mount off-center: The mount allows you to center the panel in your room, or between your speakers. |
