Speakers:	Stacked The Advent Loudspeaker. Bottom utility cabinets stripped and veneered, crossover recapped and tweaked with the Bold Eagle mod. Top walnut cabinets refinished crossover recapped and tweaked with the Bold Eagle mod.
Sources:
CD Player/DAC:	Some Sony CDP I picked up at a thrift for $10.
Turntable/Phono Stage:	Stock Thorens TD150, A #1 Cinemag SUT, Denon DL103. When it gets cold and I'm forced inside the tweaking will begin. Stock for now.
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects:	Radio Shack 16 guage speaker wire. Adding new wire and being obsessive about the connections when I stacked the Advents made a noticeable difference in sonic quality. Previous wire was quite old and the new wire is working out quite nicely.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections):	Mostly 60s and 70s Rock. Enjoy jazz and blues as well. Herb Alphert, Sinatra or Dean Martin suits me just fine for a change of pace. First concert attended Jethro Tull. Second, a double bill Blue Oyster Cult and Black Sabbath. Last two concerts attended Bob Dylan and Keith Urban . So, my musical taste are pretty eclectic.
System Goals/Comments:	Striving for a natural you are there sound. Also ease of use. Want the focus to be on enjoying the music, not necessarily tinkering with the system.
System Strengths:	Obviously the Stacked Advents. I like it and to my ears the compents are matched well. Thorens/Cinemag/Denon a nice step up on the front end. Makes the Advents sing even sweeter.
System Weaknesses:	Well it is vintage. Could go 'pfsssssttt' at any moment I assume. And, it is vinyl but hey, those ceedees do make great coasters for my beverage of choice when listening. Right now location in the basement is less than ideal. There are reflection issues. But will be moving fall of 2007 and will resolve then.
