Speakers:	15-Inch Eminence Coax (Pyle PDS341 aluminum compression tweeter) with custom cabinet. Crossover re-built by Don Allen. 100 dB/w/m efficient.

Turntable/Phono Stage:	Pioneer PL-L800 linear turntable with custom mat and Zu Denon DL-103 phono cartridge. (Due to the weight of the cartridge, "ceiling fan weights" were added to the counterweight to attain proper VTF.) Cabling upgraded by Don Allen. Turntable mat made with Home Depot vinyl tile (loose 12" x 12" x 3/16" stock, cut to mat size), covered with natural chamois and then a thin Extremephono Speed "Donut" (without None-Felt) mat. Don Allen phono stage with Bogen step up transformers.

Tweaks:	3/4" Granite slabs atop speaker boxes, to damp top box vibrations. (Speakers themselves are internally braced at the side walls.)

Room Comments/Treatments:	Behind the listening sofa, Home Depot 1" PVC pipe frame at 6' x 6', draped with Highland Feather Sussex Down king size blanket. (Knocks down slap echo in room, does not need wall mounts, and costs under $100.)

Music Used (Genre/Selections):	Everything, from Vivaldi to Aleks Syntek.
System Goals/Comments:	A low-powered high-efficiency system that recreates the live music experience.
System Strengths:	Effortless dynamics with the "gestalt" of the real thing. Superior linearity. "Spooky" realism and dynamic scale. Whole system costs less than $5000.
System Weaknesses:	Won't fix bad recordings.
Video/HT System: None
TV/Projector:	Flat screen, perhaps. But down the road.
