Speakers:	Main system: Odeon "La Boheme" horn loudspeaker with 98db/watt. For horns a moderate sized speaker with 10 inch backloaded horn and 1 inch compression tweeter in a 10 inch solid wood spherical horn. Uncolored, ultra dynamic...realistic sounding. DIY horn system: Supravox 215-2000 in TQWT cabinet for low-mid Beyma CP755Ti in solid wood round Tractrix horn for mid-high or Beyma CP350Ti in hORns Iwata 600 horn Accuphase F15-L active crossover at 1800hz 3rd order slopes.

CD Player/DAC:	Main system: Bluesound streamer to Mutec reclocker to Aries Cerat Kassandra Ref II DAC or Ayon Skylla II DAC. DIY system: Vecteur cd drive to Monarchy DIP to Monarchy Audio M24 DAC or APL Hifi DSD-AR DAC. Other DACs: Kinergetics Research UCD-55 Ultra with Lampizator output stage PS Audio Ultralink II Both of these are sort of backup but sound very good in their own right.
Turntable/Phono Stage:	Yamaha GT-2000 Turntable with vacuum platter and external power supply. Van den Hul Frog cartridge or Audio Technica AT150MLX MM cartridge. Silvaweld SWH-650 all tube Phonostage. Power supply is all tube with choke filtering and tube regulation. Great sounding machine and the only piece of gear I haven't changed in years. Pioneer Exclusive P10 motor in self-built plinth with Nottingham Spaceace 294 arm with Van den Hul DDT-2 special cartridge.

System Goals/Comments:	As close to the actual recording as possible. The system should have very little of its own sound. Live classical and jazz recordings should sound just that...live.
System Strengths:	Very neutral and transparent. Extremely good at resolving low level information that is conducive to giving a sensation of the real thing.
System Weaknesses:	Not as powerful in the bass as in previous systems. Odeons sound big but do not go super deep in the bass because of bass horn dimensions...Mirage sub takes up the slack admirably.
