IP Address: 149.39.208.10 Last Update: October 10, 2007 at 12:31:00
Amplifier: Sansui 9090db
or
H/K PM-665vxi Integrated amplifier.
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): none
Speakers: Usually KLH model Six

but I switch between:

JBL L-100 Centuries.
Epicure M400+
Late 60's Aztec Dulanes.
Sansui Sp-x9900.
Avid Model 102s.
Large Advents.

A bunch of smaller 2-ways.
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: AMC CD-8d, tube output stage.
Turntable/Phono Stage: NAD pre with Systemdek IIX turntable, Azden MC cartridge.
Other Source(s): Sony TC-k72 cassette tape deck.

HK-500 tuner.
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Simple 12 guage copper wire.

I use balanced XLR for the outs on the CD.
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): Various speaker stands from 1' to 3' high. Small angled risers for speakers that bennefit from a back-tilt.
Tweaks: Lots of D-oxit.
Room Size (LxWxH): 20 x 20 x 20ish
Room Comments/Treatments: I live in a loft, so it takes big speakers to fill up the main area. The upper bedroom is better for smaller speakers.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Classical, Rock, Classic Rock, Opera, Folk, Funk, Soul, New Wave, modern indie-rock, Anything and everything except newer country. Old country is welcomed, however.
System Goals/Comments: I try out new speakers on this system first before they go to other system(s). It has since become my main system, as my speakers tend to stay hooked to it after buying the 9090.
System Strengths: The Sansui 9090db is probably the most impressive piece of audio equipment I own. Absolutely everything sounds better with it.

The HK integrated is amazing as well. It sounds better than a lot of separates I've heard.
System Weaknesses: Not enough room for it! Big receiver..big speakers....many of them....
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector: HP 42" Plasma.
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Yamaha something or other. A stop-gap after my nice Denon receiver gave up the ghost.
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Genesis Physics 10s main. Genesis Physics 1's for center and surround. Velodyne sub.
Sources (DVD/VCR): Samsung DVD/CD.
Other HT Gear: It all sits on an old Console stereo cabinet that's been hollowed out to hold DVDs.
Comments on HT System: Genesis Physics make great HT speakers. They replaced much more expensive and newer NHT's.
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Musician/Guitarist/Vocalist. Home-recording. History/Political discussion. Film. Ship models. Hiking.
