Amplifier:	Amps: 4X JBL (Urei) model 6290, 2 bridged and used as mono block, 2 used in stereo to power surrounds. All modded with Papst quiet fans and will soon likely roll opamps to something a bit more modern.
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated):	Reciever as preamp: Sherwood R-963T. Looking for options here but haven't found exactly what I want.
Speakers:	Some large Peavey 3 way front speakers w/ floor monitor as center channel. Some large infinity 3 way speakers as surrounds. JBL ported subwoofer. Model #'s will follow later.
Sources:
CD Player/DAC:	Toslink 24/96 out of home built PC using Auzentech X-Meridian sound card. Through SRC2496 dejitterer. Toslink out of Sony Playstation 3. DAC is in the Sherwood
Turntable/Phono Stage:	Technics SL1210 MK2 w/ KAB power supply, record clamp, and my trusty shure V15typeIV. Stock arm, soon to be upgraded to my RB250 plus mods (think OL250 with a twist) Rek O Kut L-37 project siting in the closet waiting for me to get around to building a plinth for. Phono Stage: the one built into my Sherwood for now, but am developing one of my design

Speaker Cables/Interconnects:	Some large copper cables I bought at guitar center.
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.):	My amps and PC are mounted to a large industrial server rack. Most of my other gear is on some rack I bought. My turntable is sitting on a steel wall shelf.
Tweaks:	Turntable on wall shelf, a partially inflated wheelbarrow inner tube supports a heavy masonry tile, spongy turntable feet removed and replaced with spikes which sit on the masonry tile. I plan to try some wood chunks between the masonry and turntable to see if there is more.
Room Comments/Treatments:	I've been playing with DRC in the PC.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections):	Rock. Lot's of heavy metal and punk. Lately I've been dabbling more in some old jazz and blues. I have lot's of old time western records and classical music on 33's and 78's that are rarely if ever listened too.
System Goals/Comments:	I will likely never be done, and my system is in a constant state of flux. I am designing a phono preamp. The plan is to move to my RB-250 plus MC cart as soon as my phon pre is completed. I will be designing a large powerful sonotube subwoofer. I prefer invisible as a goal, synergy is the devil.
System Strengths:	Very powerful and dynamic. Great SNR. Sounds pretty good but with the obvious tradeoffs that go with a large system like this one.
System Weaknesses:	The speaker horns make themselves apparent at higher volumes. I need some dedicated power circuits very badly as the amps are jonesing for the juice in this setup.
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector:	Sharp Aquos 42" 1080P LCD.
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation:	I'm into dirtbiking and mountain biking. Curently I design barcode reading equipment but have been involved in industrial motion control in the past.
