Room Comments/Treatments:
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Rock, Jazz, Pop, Blues, anything good!!
System Goals/Comments: Truth to the source and realistic sound, musicians in my listening room.
System Strengths: Incredibly transparent, utter lack of an IM distortion and presents music very naturally, like a great tube amp, but with the power and drive of a great SS amp. I can listen for hours without ear fatigue and be graced with sweet music and low level detail that captured the essence of each recording.
System Weaknesses: Speakers, prior to the crossover mods they were good, after mods they were great but not the last word in detail. Flat response and great imaging dependant on the amplifier driving them, something that the Soraya does impeccably and effortlessly.
Video/HT System: None
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Drumming, Guitarist, Songwriter, DIY projects
