Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): 60s-70s rock, 30s-50s Big Band, 30s-60s Jazz,
System Goals/Comments: The best sound on the music I like in that particular room.
System Strengths: Speakers are very much to my taste - East Coast Sound. The Dual 701 makes good vinyl a joy to listen to. And SACDs sound awfully good even on this analog system.
System Weaknesses: Not properly tweaked for full effect yet. But I'm learning.
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector: Vizio 42" LCD flatscreen
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Pioneer SX-1010
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Klipsch Heresies
Sources (DVD/VCR): Toshiba SD-K730 CD/DVD Player
Comments on HT System: The sound on this system is fine for the small space it occupies. The Klipsch horns handle the sort of music I listen to there - jazz, mostly - quite nicely, and the Pioneer tames the digital brightness inherent in the XM stations available on my cable box.
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: I live in San Francisco. I enjoy cooking, blogs, vintage bicycles and cycling, and mid century modern furniture
