Music Used (Genre/Selections): | This system is my 'play what I find' place, so lots of used vinyl and some CD's/SCAD's smuggled from home. |
System Goals/Comments: | Make tunes while I am staying there. |
System Strengths: | The La Scalas surprised me with how they portray ambient information - good at going deep into the background sound of a recording. Surprisingly delicate treble. Over-all, quite fast, with good bass articulation to about 50Hz. Mui fantastico on sax and trumpet. Acoustic bass is nice, too. Effortless dynamics. |
System Weaknesses: | No really deep bass, sounds bright on some recordings. |
Video/HT System: None | |
