Amplifier: SRM-1
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): None
Speakers: Stax Lambda Pro headphones
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: Stan Warren modified DV-333
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Stan Warren T1 intrconnects
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Classical, esp. orchestral. I love Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, Bach, Strauss, you get the picture...

I also like some miscellaneous rock or cheesy pop occasionally.

System Goals/Comments: Accuracy, musicality. Truly slamming bass and super-realistic soundstaging are not feasible goals for headphones.
System Strengths: Accuracy, musicality. Electrostatic headphones really make the music come alive with rich detail and in liquid beauty. Soaring treble and crystal-clear mid-range. Has a fantastic sense of melody and rhythm.
System Weaknesses: Lack of deep, visceral bass. Perhaps not as impactful as I'd prefer.
Video/HT System: None
