Sennheiser HDR 180 wireless headphones
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: Some kind of cheap 5 disc player.
Turntable/Phono Stage: Umm... No. But vinyl records are sexy.
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Umm... Some kind of forgettable something.
Tweaks: I prefer a hoppy pale ale or, when the weather is agreeable, a nice porter.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Classic jazz does it for me. Acoustic rock is also yummy. And alt. country as long as it's Freakwater.
System Goals/Comments: Something resembling authentic hi-fi stereo sound that is very affordable AND takes a minimum of space.
System Strengths: I think I've hit my system goals with this combination of compenents.
System Weaknesses: This budget system sounds so good and was so affordable that it's got me wondering about what else is possible...
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector: Epson Moviemate 60
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: It's all in the Epson...
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): In the Epson.
Sources (DVD/VCR): Again, in the Eppie.
Comments on HT System: I don't watch tv, and only watch movies occassionally. When I want to see a movie, I take the Epson out, set it on the coffee table, and enjoy a 15' picture.
