Amplifier:	Audio Note P4 Monoblocs
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated):	1995 AN P4's come with volume control /6SN7 Linestage, so no pre-amp needed. Black Gates throughout,BG NH in super-e around 300B's, BG VK's around 5687's, Films in HT and at 6SN7's. Replaced original beyschlag resistors for Tants, AN and Shinkoh this made a huge difference! (as big as the caps) Takmans on grids. Mundorf films in the (HT)power section from regular lytics bypassed with mundorf silvers. The only thing left that I can tweak now is the ground plane just to make it thicker. I wonder what level these amps are at now, my guess is probably upper level four they are so damned sweet and ballsy too.
Speakers:	Quad Esl 63's Was very happy with them until the eht started to cause the soundstage to shift off center. (trafo was failing) Refurbished/Upgraded (to highest level)> By "Kentaja" A VERY substantial improvement over stock! Paul Speltz Autoformers These speakers are truly incredible! Update I replaced the film/lytic combo from the superbly (updated) boards with BG NH in a super E config 2x50uf OMG this has propelled these Quads to another level again, I had no idea they could be improved upon this far.

Room Comments/Treatments:	Acoustic foam panels 2 to front wall corners 6ft by 3 bass less boomy, improved midrange
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections):	The whole gamut from contemporary to traditional. Blues, Jazz, folk, electronica, world music, even the occasional DJ dance set.
System Goals/Comments:	To simply improve my listening experience as time goes on.
System Strengths:	Very Resolving! Incredible imaging, Superb 3D depth sometimes hair raising.
System Weaknesses:	Room could have more space behind listening position for the ESL's. Not many left now, I seem to have this system really on fire now after six years of tweaking fine tuning, I'm close to all done.
Video/HT System: Integrated
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation:	Cooking, all styles. I'm a pretty accomplished chef with about 25yrs experience 15 of that hardcore, I've an extensive library of cookbooks and am a walking encyclopedia of cooking knowledge. Now experimenting with sous vide and transglutaminase.
