Music Used (Genre/Selections): | Soft rock, Jazz, vocals, 70's, 80's, 90's rock. |
System Goals/Comments: | Purity in midrange reproduction, clarity and separation with a wide, deep soundstage with analog texture. I have had the pleasure of learning from Bill Ying at Shun Mook, spending many listening sessions with him. Great guy, very knowledgeable about stereo reproduction and has by far the best sounding stereo system I have ever heard. His stuff is great, but hard to get and not cheap. |
System Strengths: | Vocal, especially female, piano, acoustic guitar reproduction, wide, deep, full soundstage. |
System Weaknesses: | Very revealing of any slight changes in system. |
