Room Size (LxWxH): 12' x 12' x 8'
Room Comments/Treatments: Unfortunately, this is my office and I can't tune the room the way I'd like. However, things are mated to the room pretty well.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): All musics except Top 40 radio sludge.
System Goals/Comments: I love this system. I've been assembling it for 8 years with much joy and passion.
System Strengths: Great staging, very good depth, and very engaging.
System Weaknesses: The fact that this isn't an empty listening room filled with room treatments keeps me from eeking out the last bits of resolution.
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector: Toshiba TW40X81
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Pioneer Elite VSX07TX
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): DCM TimeFrame TF800 mains, DCM CX07 center, B&W inwall surrounds, Velodyne VA810 sub.
Sources (DVD/VCR): Pioneer DVL909 combination LD/DVD player

Sony SATA4 Dolby Digital-compatible DBS receiver

Comments on HT System: I can hardly wait for an HDTV receiver that works worth a darn and sells for under $500. This TV looks so good on DVDs, I can't imagine how good an HD signal will look.
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Avid golfer and cigar smoker. I worked in A/V sales and support until 2 years ago. I am now a full time investor.
