Room Comments/Treatments: Normal semi formal room furnishings with drapes. Carpeting. Speakers are out 1/4 into the room because of traffic routes.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Rock, folk,classical, shows, new age...
System Goals/Comments: With the addtion of the Metronome, the system has even more of a true to life sound quality.
Very palpible rendering as close to live as I have gotten until I get the new Clayton S2000 amplifer!
System Strengths: Life-like presentation, transparency.
System Weaknesses: The Merlins need the Velodyne HGS-12 on ever-so slightly to add the foundation to the music.

Comments on HT System: Really a cheap home theater. If I were to do it again, I'd toss out the Vantas unit and crate-up the OCM-88 and buy the Denon 4800.

astronomy, teaching and coaching soccer.
