mulveling's 2ch System System
IP Address: 71.22.216.83 Last Update: August 17, 2014 at 21:16:18
Amplifier: Rogue Audio Apollo monoblocks (tube, 250 Watts/ch) with Tung-Sol KT120 tubes.
KGSShv w/ 500V rails for electrostatic headphones
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): Rogue Audio Hera II (tube, octet of 6H30pi)
Speakers: Tannoy Canterbury SE
Headphones: Stax SR-009, Stax SR-007 Mk I, Audio Technica ATH-L3000

The above, along with Koetsu cartridges, are the most musical transducers I've encountered in this hobby thus far. The SR-009 in particular combines top-tier resolution (beyond the others listed here) and musicality like nothing else.
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: NAD M51 DAC w/ iMac, Modwright Ultimate Truth modded Denon 3910

Digital sources are used with the headphones, separate from the 2ch speaker setup. These sources are excellent but can't quite compete with the vinyl rig on the big Tannoys.
Turntable/Phono Stage: Clearaudio Innovation Wood w/ ring clamp, Graham Phantom Supreme, Koetsu Onyx/Jade/Rosewood Platinum with most of their life still ahead, and an Onyx Signature (non-Platinum) which needs a re-tip.

Sonic Frontiers Phono 1 SE+ (Parts Connexion upgraded)
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Audioquest KE-4 up top and Mont Blanc on bottom. Audioquest LeoPard, Cheetah, Sky (gen 1), and Colorado interconnects.
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): Better than nothing, but not much here.
Tweaks: Acoustic panels. Rack legs filled with lead shot. Maple board for TT. Pucks to tilt speakers up, since the tweeters sit below the ears.
