Amplifier:	A D.I.Y. 6C45/211 amp. Dyna MkIII on the center channel, highly modified SAE solid state on rears. Subs on Thommessen active crossover/plate amp. May swap 2 additional MK III's for the rears, but with no air conditioning.. ;-)
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated):	D.I.Y. 'clone' of a Jadis JP-200 and a VTL Ultimate Phono pre; this replaced my trusty P.S. Audio 4.5 of many years!
Speakers:	Open baffle design Bastani Prometheus for the front/subs, Celestion SL-600s rear, dual Celestion SL-6s center
Sources:
CD Player/DAC:	Toshiba 3950 fully modded (VR P.S. and Swenson outs, dampening/vibration control), and a Sony SCD-CE775 (no mods). Working on mods to a Pioneer 563a (transformer output and P.S.)
Turntable/Phono Stage:	Thorens TD 126B MkII fitted with a Infinity Black Widow graphite and a Denon DL-207 MC

Speaker Cables/Interconnects:	Varied mix of Monster Reference A (from the '80s), Audioquest, Museatex Crypton, MIT, D.I.Y. silver on copper etc.
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.):	Risch Isolation xformer, dedicated AC circuits from breaker panel. Homemade racks (not too bad). DIY record vacuum.
Tweaks:	Electronically, a wide variety on the SAE's and Dyna's. Working with the usual cones, sorbo, rollers, etc.
Room Size (LxWxH):	16' x 16' x 8.5'
Room Comments/Treatments:	All the speakers can image differently by moving them inches. Tinkering less these days as it all settles in.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections):	Wide. 80's dance/electronic, Jazz-Rock fusion, Zappa, Steely Dan, Bach, Beck, The Killers, mash-up's, some vocalists.
System Goals/Comments:	Trying to integrate 5.1 surround without compromising my analog set up, and on a fairly severe budget.
System Strengths:	Imaging, depth, microdynamics, great sub/satellite blend, decent SPL when wanted.
System Weaknesses:	Optimal surround sound vs. discreet 6 ch. SACD integration will take time. Getting much better though! The room will benefit from treatments.
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector:	Modded Marquis 8500 series CRT projector set up for around 80" diagonal on a drop down screen in front of the TV (Mits.40" standard def CRT).

Comments on HT System:	Getting very good; Having the Marquis tweaked and then calibrated made a big difference.

Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation:	Computers, D.I.Y., Zymurgy (beer brewing), getting a good car cheap and fixing it up (current project is an 84 BMW 325e that I scored clean for $500!). System Admin during the day, grey hat at night...Single parent of 3 daughters (25/27/29) 24x7!
