Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): All
Digitised my rock/jazz/blues/etc collection of 2,400 lps at 192/24 over the course of 2014-2015 and sold most of them in one lot. Still have about 2,000 classical lps. Continue to buy rock/jazz/blues lps, mainly used.
System Goals/Comments: Low level resolution and imaging
System Strengths: Convenience having gone from separates, tubes and bi-amped speakers.
System Weaknesses: Does not move the air that my Martin Logan Monolith IIIx could do on a good day.
Video/HT System: Separate
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Bicycle riding/European pro racing, Formula 1, drink/food, Travel. After six years of living in London, I returned to the States for all of 10 months. Time enough to change my preamp, main speakers, tuner, CDT and DAC, cables and upgrade my turntable.
