|Music Preferences and Comments:|
|Music Used (Genre/Selections):||Avant Garde Jazz|
|System Goals/Comments:||Flat frequency response with no exaggerated or plummy bass.|
Prefer a moderately wee and deep soundstage. Will accept moderate bass roll-off as system is in a condo.
|System Strengths:||Great for jazz and acoustical music recording playback. Great bass down to 36 hz or so. Even frequency response, excellent detail retrieval when its there due to low system noise floor. I don't need to obsess over tubes. The Luxman 509II is a great pairing with the Sony SS NA2ES. Who would have thought Sony could sound like this?|
|System Weaknesses:||Need to focus on digital streaming improvements including digital signal cabling. Turntable is not up to the rest of the system. Time to re-evaluate turntable upgrade.|
|Video/HT System: None|
