|Music Preferences and Comments:|
|Music Used (Genre/Selections):||Rock, Alt Rock, Post-Punk, Folk and Jazz. Minimalist Classical.|
|System Goals/Comments:||I like my system, but really want to try more modern speakers. I'd like to be able hear into more complex music and reduce a bit of bass bloat.|
|System Strengths:||Sounds great with Jazz, Folk or Blues or any acoustic music. Reed instruments and synths sound especially good, as do vocals.|
|System Weaknesses:||Not enough midrange drive--electric guitar in particular, and complex passages seem to get a bit tangled. |
I'm also on a second story of a 110-year old Craftsman fourplex with suspended wood floors, so the bass from the Dynaco A25s can get a bit boomy or wooly at times.
