Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Over 1000 classical CD's, almost every major work from every major composer, as well as a lot of fairly obscure classical music. For modern music, I listen to a lot of female vocals/jazz, rock, trip hop, some hip hop, a very little country, some pop. Only about 150 modern music Cd's, though.
System Goals/Comments: super extended and detailed non-fatiguing highs. Detailed and slightly warm sounding mids. Holographic imaging. Powerful and percussive bass, but with good tonal variation. Primary goal - good sound in a "real world" room
System Strengths: Many
System Weaknesses: Few
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector: Toshiba TW40H80 widescreen RPTV
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Acurus Act 3 processor

, Odyssey HT-3 powering front 3 speakers, Odyssey Stereo Stratos powering rear speakers

Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): nOrh marble 9.0 front L/R

nOrh mini 9.0 center

nOrh marble 4.0 rears

Blueprint 1503 PR sub

Sources (DVD/VCR): Toshiba SD-2109 DVD player, Dish Network Satellite System
Other HT Gear: Audioquest midnight speaker wire, Audioquest Emeralds interconnects, Monster S-Video Cable, Musical Fidelity X-Cans Headphone amp

Sennheiser HD-600 headphones

Comments on HT System: Amazingly immersive with outstanding imaging. Horn speakers would be more dynamic, but also more abrasive.
