Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): | Everything but Mozart, Brahms, and most country. Mozart was just evil, Brahms was canniving and used his influence to deny Bruckner the glory he deserved, and country's, well, country. |
System Goals/Comments: | High bang-buck ratio, midrange accuracy, accurate reproduction of midbass transients and bass energy. |
System Strengths: | Character and tonality of the bass and midbass, bass/midbass detail, extremely convincing imaging on recordings that preserve imaging detail, but does not impose a soundstage on the recording. |
System Weaknesses: | Dynamic compression on musical passages featuring high energy density in the lower midrange, small vertical listening window (6" long planar tweeters will do that...) |
Video/HT System: Integrated
