Room Comments/Treatments: Speakers play across the width. Beaming is common.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Jazz, classical, rock, blues
System Goals/Comments: Had this system for a long time; need new tube preamp to tame the high end.
System Strengths: imaging, airy with Crown.
System Weaknesses: Not much bass, but I live in an apt. High end can be fatiguing.
Video/HT System: Separate
TV/Projector: Sharpvision LCD to curved 72" Kloss or 100" Stewart flat screen.
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Kenwood DTS with terribly designed remote.
Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Energy 5 speaker system with sub woofer
Sources (DVD/VCR): Sony DVD, JVC VCR, digital cable
Comments on HT System: used as every day tv; curved screen allows plenty of ambient room light. LCD has lousy blacks, a warning to you X Files fans.
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: setting up digital home recording studio, my newest toy.
