Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Pop/rock; some jazz and acoustic music
System Goals/Comments: Natural, musical non-fatigueing sound that conveys the emotion and nuances of the original performance
System Strengths: Concert level volume in my room, well defined imaging, very good details (though I have heard slightly better transparency). Soundstage extends beyond the width of the speakers. Near-full range sound (rolloff below about 40hz)
System Weaknesses: Soundstaging needs more depth. Occasional bass boom.
Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: Sony WEGA 27"
Sources (DVD/VCR): Toshiba 2109 DVD player, with Bolder Type 1 power cord
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Management consultant by day (and some nights). Avid car enthusiast. Enjoy scuba, skiing, volleyball and unhealthy food.
