Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): Dedicated AC power run with seperate runs to each power amp and sources ie 1 run to each power amp and 1 for preamp and sources.

Rack, home made with 1/2' threaded bolts and MDF painted black.

Tweaks: Various,

One odd one most wouldn't do is open all windows and doors to listening room, evens out bass region (I live in tropics so this is an advantage to cooling down too with nice breezes).

Room Size (LxWxH): 17 x 16 x 8.5
Room Comments/Treatments: Room measurements aren't the whole story, as there are two large openings to my right with the kitchen and dinning room, plus the open windows/doors to the left. Close up the house and the Velodyne is too much for the room for even bass, causes the roof to rattle.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): All if recorded well (even the ocassional country music) but prefer in general to alternative rock, heavy metal, techno/dance, blues,70's & 80's pop, disco and classical, usually depends upon mood.
System Goals/Comments: Seperate Music/HT system ie one day have a dedicated music room.
System Strengths: Gives me pleasure and changes my mood depending upon which type of music is playing and transports me away for a few hours. Good enough now to be able to tell the differences between different components such as cables or experimenting with tweaks.
System Weaknesses: Lots, but if I don't know the weakness is there then it doesn't exist (three monkey's comes to mind, hear no evil etc etc.).

Video/HT System: Integrated
TV/Projector: Sony VLP-HS60 High Def 1280 x 720 Projector using the HDMI input for HD picture.

Screen Dynamics 100' 16x9 Screen

Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers: Yamaha RX-Z9 preamp/processor/amp 9.1

Cinepro 3k6II amp for HT Speaker (375 watts at 8 ohms per channel, 600 watts at 4 ohms per channel)

Earthquake 12' sub (mean little beast)

Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Aaron ATS5 main L&R,

ATS3 for rears

CC240 center

Earthquake MKIV-12 sub doing the .1 duties, set at 80 Hz

All speakers are running full range.

Sources (DVD/VCR): LG DVD with component and HDMI output High Definition 720 progressive scan PAL.

Digital Cable TV demodulator 16:9 output.

Comments on HT System: Semi combined with music ie share the same room and its not a big room, I'd love to have seperate HT and Music room.

The little Earthquake can really pump the .1 bass, a friend called said, 'its one angry little thing isn't it'

Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Music/Kitesurfing/Marine Electronic Technichian.
