Room Size (LxWxH): | ? x ? x ? |
Room Comments/Treatments: | Haven't measured room dimensions...it is a rather small university dorm room, so the acoustics are not so good, but I did manage to make out a listening space |

Music Used (Genre/Selections): | mostly classical |
System Goals/Comments: | This is my first higher-end audio rig. I can say for sure it sounds better than your average low-fi minisystems...better overall sound, can hear tiny details not heard before, and the music sounds more 'real', despite the acoustic limitations imposed by the small room. |
System Strengths: | For $1000, I think I got myself a really good system...a vast improvement over mass-produced low-fi stuff. |
System Weaknesses: | Somewhat diffuse low basses, plus it can get 'boomy' at higher volumes...may be more to do with the room though. Also, although I cannot be sure until further listening, I think the sound is mildly fatiguing...I found myself 'unable' to listen for long periods of time. |
