| Music Used (Genre/Selections): | Jazz, preferably acoustic, from Swing to Avant Garde, but I love Weather Report too; R&B; "classical"; anything guitar, favourites being Wes, Joe Pass, Baden Powell, Bonfa. Small CD collection, about 1 500 vinyl LPs.

| System Goals/Comments: | Short-term goal is ongoing replacement and upgrading of passive components in the older gear. Long-term, a modern leading-edge deck; undecided whether to go for a bit more power and electrostatics, or Class A and maybe horns. Not wedded to either tube or SS approaches, but so far I am leaning towards tube.

| System Strengths: | Natural, unforced sound with good mid clarity and deceptive bottom-end power

| System Weaknesses: | Age, more with regard to speakers than anything else. Could use more power.
