| System Goals/Comments: | If you're a newbie wondering if an upgrade is worth it, I now say yes. Ask me if I can help. In 2 yrs I upgraded an NAD reciever to a Roksan Caspian integrated. Put a vinyl system together. Changed from B&W 602's to Spendor S-1's, and Marantz to Arcam (see below). Also greatly improved rack & stands |
| System Strengths: | Upgraded from Marantz CD63 to Arcam FMJ CD23. WOW! Detailed, natural, & great soundstage. Still, the vinly sounds spectacular. |
| System Weaknesses: | room dimensions, I'm likely going to insert the bottlehead.com foreplay preamp to bypass the Caspian's preamp stage. |
