| System Goals/Comments: | I am a poor audio engineering student All I want is to listen to good two channel music, and I am a firm believer that less is more. To me music is about an experience, and although I firmly believe that paying more might get you more, I also believe there is a limit, and that limit becomes compromised when listening ceases to be an experience but becomes a quest (IMHO). I play with cables, components, and frequency settings all day, when I come home I turn my system on and just want to experience music. |
| System Strengths: | Simplicity. I like Marantz because they have great sound and I can usually afford their products.

| System Weaknesses: | Although I love the sound of the Klipsch speakers my engineering friends and teachers are constantly telling me about the flaws of horns. I may reconsider these some day. The Yamaha 5 disc is nice for background music, but I need the Marantz SA-14 for primary listening. |
