Sources:
CD Player/DAC: Denon DCD-1800R

Carver C4000 with phono stage is currently out in detached garage system.

Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: Maestro Speaker Cables

Interconnects are Audioquest Quartz & Ruby
Tweaks: Golden Flutes in tape loop (rarely used).

Ground lifted on OCM 500 amp.
Room Size (LxWxH): 18 x 15 x 8.6
Room Comments/Treatments: This is an old farm house. My wife's plants dominate the right side. In the rear a 3' and 4.5' door open into 17' deep rooms. There is also another 3' door in the left rear side of the room.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Classic rock / Some classical
System Goals/Comments: To get lost in the music.
System Strengths: Midrange is stunning. Top to bottom this system is very close to what I hear from my Senn HD580's. Actually the system is better, I only listen to the 580's if I am forced to for family harmony...
System Weaknesses: Speaker impedance drops to 2.6 ohms (gives amp a workout).Small sweet spot. Speakers are too placement sensitive. Moves as small as 1/4' can make big changes in midrange presence.
Video/HT System: None
TV/Projector: Panasonic plasma TC-P54V10
Processor/Receiver/Amplifiers:

Speakers (Center, Surrounds, Sub): Polk SDA soundbar with wireless sub. It's a television system...I don't really hear any surround sound, but at this point I don't care.
Sources (DVD/VCR): Panasonic DMP-BD60 BluRay
Other HT Gear:
Comments on HT System: The Flat panel speakers distorted easily. So I got the soundbar, which still allows the TV remote to adjust sound level, (WAF).
