CD Player/DAC:	Sony SCD-XA777ES SACD modified by Ric Schultz (EVS). Multichannel capability disabled, 2 of the three DAC boards removed, fully-balanced custom output stage, single pole filter, AC input modified, power switch disabled, headphone amp disabled, Superclock II plus Superclock power supply. Heavy duty Belden power cord. I fitted a new optical block in June 2009.

Low inductance construction using 0.002" Teflon film separating positive and negative foils, adhesive-backed foam compression layer on the outside, double-wrapped in opposing directions with wide Teflon tape, no connectors. Interconnects: DIY 24ga. 99.999% silver wire in Teflon tubes. 2 for each of signal and return, loosely braided, Eichmann Express Bullet Plugs.
