| System Goals/Comments: | Question for Inmates: Can an 2A3 system using horn speakers, e.g. Pi, work in limited space? or Is it better to do something like Wave & Axiom Ti3? |
| System Strengths: | BC-1's have been 20 year mainstay of system; I perceive them as accurately reflecting the sound of voices I know well from having worked at NPR. |
| System Weaknesses: | OTH, comparing BC-1s to, for example, JM Lab speakers they don't seem as quick. Very far from sounding like friend's much higher end electrostatics (the Magneplanar that's far taller than the average American male.) |
