System Goals/Comments: Musical Enjoyment --- I realize that at my price point overall music accuracy is a hopeless goal...so I'm much more interested in musicality...even at the expense of accuracy.
System Strengths: I really enjoy listening to it. It's the opposite of fatiguing...listening a little makes me want to listen more. Very above mid-fi coherency. Nothing ever glares and yet it has that "bite" of live music.
System Weaknesses: Bass that refuses to extend anywhere close to real levels (my roommate is a drummer). Fortunately, below a certain point it isn't really missed. Overall smoothness...no one would ever mistake my system for one containing Sonus Faber monitors. Everything sounds good but the upper trouble is a little less than natural. It has the right "bite" and never glares but sometimes it just doesn't have that "rightness" I'd like.
Video/HT System: None
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Cars. German ones in particular. Porsches even more specifically. I also love to take pictures and, every once in a while, create art.
