Amplifier: Homebrew project using Heathkit iron, Acrosound TO-300 output transformers. Mullard 5-20 circuit. Long tail pair front end. I never grow tired of listening through this system. MAY be 20 or so watts. Tubes are used are 5V4, 6SN7's and different 6L6 types. 7027A for my taste now. Wired to take 6L6 types 7027A, KT66, 5881, 7581 and 6L6's. Choke input. RCA jacks, audio and feedback path uses Chimera Labs CCC copper, Holco resistors, polypropylene caps.
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): Homebrew linestage using Kimmel's Mu follower with 6CG7's/HEXFET's. Choke input, 3 chokes, NO resistors in the power supply. All polypropylene B+ caps, no electrolytics except in the filiment supply. Seperate power supply chassis, Holco resistors, polypropylene caps.
Speakers: JM Lab Daline 3.1. They couple very nicely in this small room.
