Music Used (Genre/Selections): | Classical, Baroque, Bluegrass, Jazz (female vocal). |
System Goals/Comments: | Okay, to be honest, this system was created around the fact that almost every component made itself avalible to me on the USED market. Additionally since most of my listening is Classical music, the sound I have always been looking for is one that faithfully reproduces such music. |
System Strengths: | Wonderful imaging and soundstaging. Laid back, relaxed sound with good seperation between instruments. Sound is very 'honest' and uncolored. |
System Weaknesses: | Not the best system for such a small room. Higher listening levels easily overwhelm the room. Lacking colorations, there is not the midrange warmth I have heard on other systems that make Jazz and vocals very pleasing to listen to. |
