| Amplifier: | Berning ZH-270 (two) integrated stereo amplifiers, horizontal bi-amped. I use Telefunken ECC801S (special 12AT7) tubes, Raytheon black plate triple mica 6829(special 12AV7) tubes, and cryoed 6JN6 power tubes (from Allan Bhagan). | ||||||||||||
| Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): | Marchand passive XM-46 crossover used for low pass only, with Russian Teflon Caps for high pass filter directly into the Berning ZH-270. No preamplifier! (Betters my tube XM-126 in everyway!) | ||||||||||||
| Speakers: | Magnepan 3.6R with Mye Stands... BEST ADVICE! Get good stands for your Magnepans before you start spending money on other tweaking! | ||||||||||||

| Music Used (Genre/Selections): | I enjoy just about all WELL recorded music.
| System Goals/Comments: | My only regret is I should have gotten better Magnepan stands from the very beginning! The best Tweak/dollar value spent without any doubt!
| System Strengths: | Very quick, transparent, detailed with great soundstage. Very good Bass!
| System Weaknesses: | There are no perfect systems, but this one is the best I have heard in my home over the last forty years.
