BGW 150 x 2 (1 channel per 15W75)
BGW 75 x 1 (D260)
Adcom GFA 535 (added in 1990 with Klipsch Forte)
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): Preamp: Harman Kardon 825
Active Crossover: BOSS 2nd order (12db/oct.) at 100Hz and 2kHz. This XO was chosen as it has a full range output as well as the HP, LP, and BP outputs.
Speakers: 2 Channels each having 2 Peerless 831727, 2 15W75 and 1 D260. The 831727 are in a 4th order, 3 chamber, band pass box (2 sealed chamber of 45 liters each and 1 center 30 liter chamber ported). The 831727 is XOed at 100Hz to a MTM using Dynaudio 15W75 and D260. The 15W75-D260 MTM uses an active XO at 2kHz.

In addition to this there are 2 full range channels using a pair of Klipsch Forte.

VCR: Panasonic Hi-Fi VCR used for audio only.
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: CD to preamp: AFA (house brand from Singapore)

Speaker wire: 3 x large gauge zip cord (lamp cord) in braid.

Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): EQ: Audio Control Ritcher Scale C-101
Room Size (LxWxH): 15 x 20 x 12
Room Comments/Treatments: Many of the components are quite old (BGW are from 1984, ADCOM 555 from 1985, Denon decks, HK Preamp and BOSS XO from 1987, Adcom 535 and Forte in 1990, Peeless SUBs, Dynaudio Sats and CD63SE from 1994. Used for parties only. All concrete room. Very live. no furniture but plastic chairs and a few tables for food and drinks, etc.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Rock, Jazz, Blues.
System Goals/Comments: Loud and relaiable. For fun, parties, etc. This system was built using my older components and was started in 1985.
System Strengths: Quite Neutral
System Weaknesses: Bass. Bandpass bass does not mate well with sealed satellite but in this enviroment no one seems to notice. In fact we corner load the Peerless Subs to provide one note bass because that is what everyone seems to want. On quieter days we use only the Klipsch Forte and ADCOM 535.
Video/HT System: None
