System Goals/Comments: | To have the "being there" experience! The best possible "musical" system, not necessarily the ultimate hifi. To get the digital sounding as musical as the analog. |
System Strengths: | With the right source material I can close my eyes nearly be there. Good sound stage, no grain, strong mids and sweet treble, good dynamic range. |
System Weaknesses: | With the wrong source material it can be unforgiving, and there are a lot of CDs and even SACDs with not the best engineering / mixing. A good LP still sounds better than a good disk (even SACD). |
