Amplifier: Bez 2a3, Quad II
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): Foundation Audio valve preamp, with Mullard ECC83 and EZ81, and Amperex ECC88. Rather nice stepped attenuator too.
Speakers: Lowther Ace horn speakers, B&W DM2s.

CD Player/DAC: Rotel 965BX with Mission DAC5
Turntable/Phono Stage: Nottingham Analogue Interspace with Morch UP4, precision armwand and Denon Dl03.

Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): Classical, indie, electronica, opera, random stuff like Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Palestrina etc. Quite a lot of Eastern European stuff, like Janacek, Smetana, Miaskovsky, Shostakovich, Stravinsky, Dvorak, etc etc
System Goals/Comments: Break in the Lowthers! And prettify their cabinets too
System Strengths: Big difference from previous electrostatic headphones! Bass is now present, highs still good, and vinyl is pretty fantastic at the mo.
System Weaknesses: Digital sounds 'digital', too harsh, but a lot nicer with the Quads.
Video/HT System: None
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: Medical student. I'm getting the listening and music making done now while I have a life.
