Suffice it to say, some of the gear in my other system sees action here on occasion during product development.

I will tell you this; the listening lab faces South and the system set up faces North. This orients the magnetic poles so that I float when I listen and evaluate stuff. It also eliminates the need for mind altering substances while listening to music. Also, I strategically place the newest color M&Ms, slightly munched, on top of the loud speakers, tone arm headshell, and transport. The M&Ms face East or West. This keeps them from floating which would be an intrusive distraction, much like the 30 billion "bells & whistles" lights on mid-fi drek that my friend uses to multi-purposely listen to music with, light his living room, and heat the first floor of his home. I use the "M&M Tweak" just in case it improves something.
