Music Preferences and Comments: | |
Music Used (Genre/Selections): | Classical orchestral, chamber music, especially 20th Century, R&B, some blues and jazz |
System Goals/Comments: | Accuracy. I wanted to reach back to the recording through a chain of unbroken, non-distorting accuracy |
System Strengths: | Accuracy, detail, dynamics, slam, the ability to make effortless clean noise. |
System Weaknesses: | The speakers are far too big, they dominate the room from an aesthetic point of view. They are so hostile looking that sometimes I'm scared to be alone in the room with them! I also have a suspicion that the MB2s could do with even more muscular Bryston 7B monoblocs or the 14BST amp. |
