Amplifier: DIY tube amplifier > 100 Hz,
AKSA amplifier for subwoofers
Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): DIY tube, with modified DAC
Speakers: DIY Horn speakers, two-way frontloaded, with direct-radiator subwoofers.
Sources:
CD Player/DAC: Pioneer PD-S507 player, Parasound DAC1000 is heavily modifed, goes to tube stages directly after the DAC chip.
Turntable/Phono Stage: none
Other Source(s): Home-theater PC is connected to DAC
Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: DIY with BNC connectors
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): Ikea rack... :)
Room Comments/Treatments: Heavy carpets in front of speakers to absorb first floor reflection. It is a beech hardwood floor.

Music Used (Genre/Selections): Rock/Pop/J-Pop/Classical
System Goals/Comments: Dynamics is number one. Transparency, clean/clear sound, natural tone and fatigue-free.
System Strengths: Dynamic, clean, ...
System Weaknesses: No hornloaded Bass. It is BIG!
