System Strengths: I have liked this system as its equipment has changed and progressed. I generally prefer the sound of analogue to digital, and so put more money into my analogue rig than my digital rig. The systems strongest points are its freequency response and resolution. Its one of the most resolving systems I have heard anywhere near its price point. I also find the frequency response to be very smooth and tonaly accurate, it also measures to within +/- 2 decibles from 60hz-15khz, and is about +/- 3 db's down to 20hz, and up to 20khz. The soundstage can be very deep and wide, and generally instruments are produced in a realistic size.
System Weaknesses: Though it stages very well, I do wish the stage was deeper and wider than it is, along with having more air around the instruments. The dynamic range seems limited compared to larger systems or systems with higher efficiency. I also feel that the size of very large unstruments or full orchestras are shrunk unrealisticly, making them sound small. Its not excessivly so, but a good large system does a good job reproducing these by comparison. It has made me wish I had larger tower speakers, though only a small few have really bettered the dynamic range and power of this system while mantaining its tonal balance and resolution.
