Tweaks: | none really |
Room Size (LxWxH): | 23' x 13' x 10.5' |
Room Comments/Treatments: | fairly bare with carpet |
Music Preferences and Comments: | |
Music Used (Genre/Selections): | modern (esp ECM) jazz, scottish / irish folk, blues, old punk stuff, well recorded vocal stuff (diana krall etc) |
System Goals/Comments: | fairly neutral, reasonably dynamic, very smooth vocals / treble. I/m a sucker for deep female vocals |
System Strengths: | very smooth treble Good radio reception quality with a large aerial pointing to a very strong signal source. |
System Weaknesses: | boomy mid bass which I blame the speakers for. These were bought for a much smaller room. Now in a larger house / room and suffering I think. Used to have a troika, but when they stoped making them I couldn't afford the Arkiv & so the 2000MkII was the best I heard. Used to use Linn Kans before last upgrade of LP12 (Cirkus?) with the Naims they were very very fast and dynamic if a little bright - which you did get used to (most of the time) - didn't like CD though, hence the spendors |
Video/HT System: None | |
Comments on HT System: | don't / wouldn't have one as I do not watch much TV |
