Preamplifier (or None if Integrated): stevens & billington transformer volume (replacing audio synthesis dual mono attenuator)
Speakers: audiostatic dci+ electrostatics (now called dci wing) bybeefied

CD Player/DAC: meridian 506-20 - heavily modified (parts, damping, clock, output stage)
Turntable/Phono Stage: scheu 80mm, morsiani 12'arm, denon 103pro, ese labs nibiru phono stage

Other Accessories/Room/Misc.:
Speaker Cables/Interconnects: as little as possible. audio consulting silver enamelled wire. interconnects single wires per polarity, speakers get 2 wires per polarity in a braid.
Other (Power Conditioner, Racks etc.): isolation transformers on their way
Tweaks: yes, plenty of bybees in different places, non polar black gates.
Room Size (LxWxH): odd shape x x
Room Comments/Treatments: tried home made diffusers, gave up, and started to listen to music
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections): mostly classical, especially before the 19th century, some folk, acoustic, jazz
System Goals/Comments: 'get out of the way'. hear as much of the recording as possible
System Strengths: i'm no longer objective: sounds quite nice now, but it must reflect all of my preferences.
System Weaknesses: can't make my ears bleed yet or get knocked over by sonic boom. the system can sound lightweight but there is a lot of nuance and detail.
Video/HT System: None
Other Interests/Hobbies/Occupation: yes, but none of them appear to improve the sound of the system
