Room Comments/Treatments: | The purpose of the KLH Analog Bass Computer is basically that of an active EQ processor. It listens to the source of whatever you are playing, and then compares the amplifier output to the original source. In real time it actively compensates for the differences and eq's the source signal and sends it back to the amplifier, so that the amplifier will reproduce exactly what the original source sounded like. I use this computer religiously with my loudspeakers. I don't care how accurate an amp is today. The speakers have NEVER been used without the computer and NEVER will. The bitch is that today it is impossible it seems to find a good dolby digital or thx amp that has a tape 2/monitor connection, so it looks as if I may just have to run the KLH-1 system on its own discrete amplifier when I upgrade to digital. |

System Strengths: | Nothin but the KLH-1 computer controlled loudspeakers and the KLH-1 Analog Bass Computer, baby, it's what makes the system worth anything. |
