| Music Used (Genre/Selections): | Rock, Slow rock, Dave Matthews, Tool, Led Zepplin, Page plant, Regge, Counting Crows.. Old funk, Tower of power.. The Police, very eclectic mix.. Mostly vinyl and 500 cds or so.. |
| System Goals/Comments: | Love the depth and width of the soundstage.. want to improve the turntable tweeking and get it dialed in... this is a rig that I can and do listen to for hours.. very musical and good for most music I listen to. |
| System Strengths: | Excellent imaging.. with the Mirages about 4 feet from the wall and about 8 feet apart, the soundstage is deep and wide.. the musical placement is excellent and the highs are never glarring.. Mirage are laid back.. They do require alot of power and the Sonic Frontiers SFS 80 dialed in with the kt90 tubes really gives all the current needed... I still cant believe some of the things I hear and feel with this rig!! I love to look and listen to it! |

| Comments on HT System: | This system will scare you!! Goobs of power and super detail.. It will definately damage the hearing if that is your goal.. Otherwise, it is very enjoyable and my solid state section is beautiful with a Krell kav 300 cd and the Monoblocks driving the Mirages.. |
