Room Comments/Treatments:	Our living/listening room is a 1950s addition to our 200+ year old post-and-beam New England farmhouse. This room has a pine planked floor, a 14x10 oriental rug and jute pad, plywood sub floor, dry walls and moderate window area with lightly lined curtains. After some experimenting, we have declined to compromise our traditional decor with specific acoustic treatment. I added floor bracing, and have learned to pay careful attention to speaker positioning.
Music Preferences and Comments:
Music Used (Genre/Selections):	Classical, some jazz, traditional pop -- e.g. Gershwin, Mercer, etc. Most of the music we enjoy is small scale and simply mic'ed.
System Goals/Comments:	My system goal is enjoyable reproduction of chamber music. I think this is a realistic goal for an "average" room.
System Strengths:	Micro-dynamics, phrasing, attack, timbre, inner voices and ambiance of the recording venue. No congestion. Clean sibilants. Enjoyable.
System Weaknesses:	Mid bass is light.

TV/Projector:	Vizio 32" HD plasma in separate room.
