| System Goals/Comments: | simple circuits. appreciation of classic designs and components. maximum joy for minimum outlay. an outlet for my tinkering. |
| System Strengths: | stays out of the way of the music. very pleasurable low-level listening (important in an apartment) (3/5/01) Addition of Wharfedale speaks: pretty much the same, just more of it. with new linestage: just that much closer. (10/10/02)Vandersteens and new amp - punchier, better bass, not quite as breezy as the 45 amp w/Goodman 201's, but, hey, I don't miss it at all. |
| System Weaknesses: | ugly, ungainly size. I miss the days when I didn't care about these things. (3/5/01) Addition of Wharfedale speaks: Still ungainly, not as ugly, though. (10/10/02) All the ugliness is now hidden in a beautiful old radio cabinet that some pervert gutted and left for dead. Much much better. |
